Professional development coursework is delivered through an online learning management system that provides user-friendly enrollment, easy access to courses, and a self-paced, engaging online learning environment for students. On average, most courses will take approximately one hour to complete. One clock hour of coursework is granted 0.1 IACET approved CEU. Take courses from any computer with Internet access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Print your course certificate immediately upon completion.

Courses can be purchased three ways:

  • Individual or block hours – Students may purchase one hour of coursework or multiple hours at a time.
  • Individual Annual Subscription - For $99, a child care provider can purchase an individual, annual professional development subscription. The subscription allows unlimited access to CCEI’s professional development library for the year of the subscription.
  • Center-Based Subscription - The Center-Based Subscription is the most manageable, accessible and cost-effective method for a center to provide its staff with training to meet annual licensing professional development needs. A center-based subscription is a site-based license that allows unlimited access to CCEI’s professional development course library for the year of the subscription for the number of staff at that site that is specified in the subscription. The center-based subscription also comes with administrative features allowing the director to assign and monitor courses and print reports for licensing. Staff turnover doesn’t require the purchase of additional subscriptions. A rollover option allows for the replacement of a terminated employee with a new one.

CCEI offers two center-based subscriptions, a 20-user and a 50-user option.  With the 50-user option, staff can receive access to annual training for just $20 per person.
