ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), an accredited online training institution, offers new users the opportunity to try distance learning by taking the trial course PROF101: Adult Learning Theories and Strategies at no cost in September, in recognition of Self-Improvement Month.
Effective instructors must consider individual needs, learning styles, and communication styles of adults. Teaching strategies can be tailored to meet a particular audience, but only if instructors are aware of the specific and wide-ranging challenges involved in adult education. Upon successful completion, CCEI’s Adult Learning course provides professional trainers and adult educators with strategies for meeting the needs and preferences of individual students. Relevant topics in this one-hour online course include Gardner’s Theory of Multiple intelligences and the work of several other prominent adult learning theorists.
PROF101 is available to new CCEI users as a trial course awarded upon account creation during September. Preexisting account holders without an active, annual training subscription may purchase this course through online enrollment at any time.
