Maria C. Taylor, CEO and President of Childcare Education Institute, Elected to IACET Board of Directors
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) recently elected new members to the 2012-13 Board of Directors, who represent organizations that make a commitment to excellence in lifelong learning. Each board member is an expert in continuing education and training, a function deemed increasingly critical during challenging economic times and technology’s impact on our workplace.
Maria C. Taylor, who serves as CEO and President for Childcare Education Institute (CCEI), was elected to the Board of Directors for IACET. Taylor stated, “Since CCEI’s inception, our goal has been to raise the quality level of training for early care providers. I hope my experiences and input will benefit the organization.” Taylor added, “I look forward to working with the Board in 2013.”
“I believe Maria is a strong leader and advocate for high quality training programs, and I look forward to working in partnership with this new board to advance the awareness of the importance of continuing education and training,” stated Sara Meier, M.Ed., executive director of IACET.
