CCEI Announces the Approval of Coursework by the West Virginia Early Childhood Training Connections & Resources

CCEI online professional development courses can now be used to meet required training hours in West Virginia. All early child care providers are required to complete at least 15 hours of approved training within the first year of employment.Staff members working with children under 24 months, are the exception, and must complete 40 hours of training. For Directors, 6 of the 15 hours of training must be completed in management related coursework. For staff members, 6 of the 15 hours must relate directly to the age group they care for.
