ChildCare Education Institute® (CCEI), an online child care training course and certificate provider, is proud to announce the introduction of the Georgia Health and Safety Certificate to the catalog of online certificate programs of study.
The Georgia Health and Safety Certificate is designed to satisfy the upcoming rule changes to staff training requirements as mandated by the state’s CCDBG Reauthorization Plan. Topics covered in the certificate program include Infectious Disease Control, SIDS, Medication Administration, Food Allergies, Building and Physical Premises Safety, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Disaster Preparedness, Handling and Storage of Hazardous Materials, Transportation Safety and Mandatory Reporting. The certificate program has been approved by Georgia Bright from the Start (BFTS).

Providers in Georgia with an active CCEI individual or center-based subscription will have access to the certificate program at no additional cost. Individuals without a subscription can purchase the certificate program for $49.
