Duluth, GA/ October 7, 2011 – ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), an IACET approved, nationally accredited, distance training institution dedicated exclusively to the child care
industry, is proud to announce the approval of courses by the Growing Futures Professional Development Registry to provide online child care training to North Dakota’s child care and education professionals.
North Dakota child care professionals are required to take training approved by the Growing Futures Registry in order to meet annual licensing requirements. Training becomes Registry-approved after receiving an approval notification and code from the Registry. The CCEI Professional Development Course Catalog contains courses from all the major early childhood competency areas plus coursework in the following popular training categories: Administration and Management, Eco-friendly Child Care, Early Literacy, Inclusion and Special Needs, Nutrition and Food Service, Social and Emotional Development, and more. In addition to the professional development course library, ChildCare Education Institute’s CDA Certificate program may be used to fulfill the education requirements for the CDA National Credentialing Program required by the Council for Professional Recognition.
“CCEI has applied an immense amount of dedication and persistence to be approved in 48 states for child care training,” says Maria C. Taylor, President and CEO of CCEI. “We are very proud to have our first few courses approved in North Dakota and look forward to adding many more to serve early care professionals in North Dakota and, as a result, the children and families who depend on them.”
