Most coursework offered by ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) has been approved by The Nevada Registry, and as such is accepted by The Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) - Child Care Licensing Unit to meet annual in-service training requirements.
Note: The following CCEI courses have not been approved by the Nevada Registry because Nevada requires them to be taken in person.
HLTH102: Preventing the Spread of Bloodborne Pathogens (Training must be provided by a licensed health care professional)
CCEI112A: Child Abuse: Signs of Abuse and Reporting Requirements for Early Childhood Professionals (Licensing requires this course to be at least two hours)
CCEI112D: Child Abuse: The Impact of Maltreatment on Relationship Skills and Bonding (Licensing requires this course to be at least two hours)
CCEI117: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (Licensing requires this course to be at least two hours)

ChildCare Education Institute’s coursework may be used to fulfill the training requirements required by the Council for Professional Recognition to obtain the National CDA Credential.
