Oklahoma Center for Early Childhood Professional Development and CCEI Announce Partnership

ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), a nationally accredited distance training institution dedicated to the child care industry is proud to announce a new partnership with the Oklahoma Center for Early Childhood Professional Development..

The 16-hour Oklahoma Health & Safety Pre-Service Certificate was developed in partnership with the Oklahoma Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD) and is designed to satisfy the state’s CCDBG pre-service training requirement. The program has also been approved by the OK CECPD for formal training hours. Providers in Oklahoma with an active CCEI individual or center-based subscription will have access to the certificate program at no additional cost. Individuals without a subscription can purchase the certificate program for $49.

CCEI has online training courses in a wide variety of topics including the pre-service areas required in the federal CCDBG requirements: Infectious Disease Control, SIDS, Medication Administration, Food Allergies, Building and Physical Premises Safety, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Disaster Preparedness, Handling and Storage of Hazardous Materials, Transportation Safety and Mandatory Reporting.

The Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD) delivers professional development training resources and was created through a partnership with Oklahoma DHS. CECPD is a division of the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. The training delivered via this web site is approved by both Oklahoma DHS and CECPD for meeting Oklahoma licensing requirements.
