Childcare Staff Certification Programs

CCEI provides several online childcare staff certification program options that meet the training requirements of the Council for Professional Recognition’s Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and CDA Renewal. Additionally, CCEI provides online certificate programs including the Director’s Certificate, and several others. Programs are designed around the diverse needs of students. Certificate programs of study are self-paced, and CCEI provides access to an Education Coach and customer support services to deliver assistance, encouragement, and feedback throughout the duration of programs.

Certification Benefits

  • Alignment with the Child Development Association (CDA) formal early childhood education coursework found in the CDA’s Eight Subject Areas
  • CCEI assigns Education Coaches once enrolled in a program and they are accessible to help students reach their goals and provide on-going assistance
  • Students who complete CCEI certification programs may be able to articulate their training into college credit through one of CCEI’s articulation partners
  • Rolling enrollment – start anytime
  • Director’s Certificate program length 60 hours and 6 CEUs web-based coursework accessible 24/7/365

  • CCEI offers a variety of CDA programs, in both English and Spanish, to align with the Council’s three childcare settings: Infant-Toddler, Preschool and Family Child Care

Need to know if your state accepts CCEI’s coursework?

Some of the material presented in these child care courses may differ from the specific child care center director requirements of state or local regulatory agencies and other compliance organizations. Some jurisdictions also limit the number of courses per day or course hours that will be recognized for licensing or other child care director requirements. Please check with your child care director or regulatory office(s) to ensure the courses you plan to take will satisfy the requirement(s) for which you are taking them.
